Table 6&8
Hey everyone i just need someone to clarify. For Table 6, can someone explain why some boxes are left empty? Does this mean that it is not an essential variable if there is a change in the variable?
And for Table 8, can someone explain why some boxes have Q's and some boxes have T's and my question would be the same for those. Like if it has a Q in the box does that mean it is qualified or does it require requalification if it is changed? Thanks and sorry i didn't know how to word this.

To answer your first question you need to know that table 6 is just required information for a WPS NOT essential variables and the reason some of the boxes are empty is the the data dose not apply the that process for example you do not use shielding gas for SMAW.
table 8 is the table with all of your qualification variables if there is a change beyond the limits in this table then you need to re-qualify. the T stands for Toughness applications and only apply when fracture toughness is a factor.
all of this info can be found above the table
I hope this helps keep the questions coming and correct me if I am wrong.
